The 5th hands-on PTR-MS, the IONICON PTR-MS training course, took place this week in Innsbruck, Austria

The anniversary edition of hands-on PTR-MS attracted 36 participants from all over the world and an exciting program awaited the PTR-MS users from 23 to 26 January.

Since the first IONICON PTR-MS training seminar was held in 2003 we were able to attract more and more attendees and provide a very attractive program adapted to the needs of our customers. This year every single participant had the opportunity to pick among a selection of proposed workshops and by this was able to design an individual training schedule.

On Monday everybody was invited to refresh their background knowledge on the principles of PTR-MS in a  lecture covering vacuum technology, ion chemistry and analytical characterization of PTR-QMS and PTR-TOFMS, given by Armin Wisthaler from the university of Innsbruck. At the evening of the same day we invited to a social evening event at a very special location in order to celebrate the 5th edition of hands-on PTR-MS. This was an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences, connect and to network in a relaxed atmosphere.

Participate at the IONICON PTR-MS training seminar 23. 1. – 26. 1. 2011

January 23 – February 2, 2011, Obergurgl & Innsbruck, Austria

The successful International PTR-MS conference, organized by the Institute of Ion Physics and Applied Physics of the University of Innsbruck, celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2011 and the IONICON PTR-MS training course “hands-on PTR-MS” will again be part of the program.

I am glad to announce that the dates for the PTR-MS Conference 2011 and hands-on PTR-MS 2011 are now set. Please add these dates to your agenda!
