60th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics

IONICON innovations are presented at ASMS this week – download our posters here!

If you are visiting this year’s ASMS annual meeting in Vancouver, you will be able to learn about pioneering developments we kept ourselves busy with, the last couple of months.

If you, like myself, don’t have the chance to attend the conference this year, I am sure you are having the same feeling – we are missing a great event in a wonderful city. The only relief  I can offer is posting our scientific contributions here.

Come and join us for the poster presentations on Wednesday or download information about our recent innovative achievements below:

WP32 – Instrumentation: New Concepts
Slots: 698 and 699, Wednesday, Poster Hall:
From conventional Proton-Transfer-Reaction Mass Spectrometry (PTR-MS) to a universal trace gas analyzer

More than one order of magnitude higher sensitivities with Proton-Transfer-Reaction Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (PTR-TOFMS)

Have a safe trip, enjoy ASMS or, like myself, have a good time in office!

Visit us at the ASMS in Denver, booth # 138!

Meet us at the ASMS conference June 5-9, booth # 138 and see what’s new at IONICON

The 59th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics will take place June 5 – 9, 2011 in Denver, CO.

The American Society for Mass Spectrometry expects more than 6,500 scientists to attend their annual conference and we’re again part of this major mass spectrometry event.

This is going to be a hot PTR-MS summer with product launches and lots of new developments at IONICON. Usually readers of our blog will be first to know but this is going to be an exception… I suggest you come by our booth, have a chat with me and I promise to give you some news and updates before I tell them to anybody else…

Visit us at booth # 138 and have a look at our posters:

Scientific Poster: Recent developments in Proton-Transfer-Reaction Mass Spectrometry leading to new fields of application (e.g. illicit and designer drugs detection)
Date: Thursday, June 9th , 2011 No: ThP03 – Instrumentation: New Concepts, poster number: 049, Thursday, Poster Hall

Corporate Poster: Overview and introduction to PTR-MS, its applications and our products.

See you in Denver!

Conference and events schedule – UPDATE

After the first quarter of 2011 ended very successfully for us with our exhibition stand being crowded at conferences and trade shows like Pittcon® (read the blog entry), it is time to give you an update on what will be going on in the second and third quarter of 2011. We sponsor some very interesting conferences and will be present with our booth, lectures, posters and of course…PTR-MS instruments.

Visit us at these events:

This is only a small selection of conferences we are already preparing for but watch out for more updates coming up at our Conference & Events Schedule page. Stop by our booth and experience real-time ultra-sensitive trace gas analysis.

Conference and events schedule 2011

The new year 2011 starts with a series of exciting PTR-MS events

The first conferences, exhibitions and trade-shows where IONICON will take part by welcoming you at our booth, giving lectures, presenting posters or supporting science as sponsor are coming up quickly…

58th ASMS preview

May 23 – 27, Salt Lake City, Utah

The 58th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics will be held in about one month’s time hence it’s a good opportunity to point your interest to this event and our related activities.

The American Society for Mass Spectrometry expects the attendance of of 7,000 scientists giving 3,000 presentations as talks and posters. The poster/exhibit hall will feature over 650 different posters each day and 184 exhibit booths, providing a broad array of science and technology.

We will be there too continuing our support of the ASMS as a corporate member that we have been over the last couple of years.

If you plan to visit the annual ASMS conference in Salt Lake City, drop by our booth No. 43!

In the poster/exhibit hall you will also find a corporate poster as well as a scientific poster. We’ll present our latest invention, DAI (direct aqueous injection) for PTR-MS. The poster’s title is:

Analyzing liquids via direct injection proton-transfer-reaction mass spectrometry (PTR-MS).

Session: Instrumentation: New Concepts I (671): Wednesday, May 26, 2010.
