May 23 – 27, Salt Lake City, Utah

The 58th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics will be held in about one month’s time hence it’s a good opportunity to point your interest to this event and our related activities.

The American Society for Mass Spectrometry expects the attendance of of 7,000 scientists giving 3,000 presentations as talks and posters. The poster/exhibit hall will feature over 650 different posters each day and 184 exhibit booths, providing a broad array of science and technology.

We will be there too continuing our support of the ASMS as a corporate member that we have been over the last couple of years.

If you plan to visit the annual ASMS conference in Salt Lake City, drop by our booth No. 43!

In the poster/exhibit hall you will also find a corporate poster as well as a scientific poster. We’ll present our latest invention, DAI (direct aqueous injection) for PTR-MS. The poster’s title is:

Analyzing liquids via direct injection proton-transfer-reaction mass spectrometry (PTR-MS).

March 23-26, Munich

Analytica, the European benchmark in leading analytical trade shows, taking place every other year, attracted nearly 33.000 visitors.

For us Analytica is a very important event as first of all we meet lots of good friends and second, it’s very close to home (Innsbruck, Austria) so that we can be there in approximately 1.5 hours. This of course is a huge advantage and helps to bring most recent developments along with us.

Whilst serving coffee, cold drinks, and original Tyrolean speck, cheese and bread, at our booth that we shared with two other Austrian organizations we had the opportunity to present our products to a very interested public in hall A2.

March 1-4, Orlando, FL

Despite the rather unusual moderate temperatures, Pittcon® attracted more than 10.000 conferees to the show that describes itself as ” [...] the leading showcase for scientific and technical innovation with a singular focus on laboratory science”.

IONICON was again a part of this important yearly event.

We brought a new fresh and clear display with us and were impressed by the amount of visitors our booth and two posters that we presented in the Thursday’s session attracted.

Hello and a very warm welcome to IONICON News & Views!

I am Lukas and most of you, our valued customers, users of our instruments, partners, friends and maybe even some of you interested surfers on the web may know me from emails, phone calls but also conferences and other events.

I have the honor and it’s a pleasure for me to launch our new corporate blog, by going live with this first post.

This website is intended as a platform, allowing us to present news and updates from various PTR-MS related topics to you.

I am looking for your comments and hope for an interesting exchange in the PTR-MS community.

This blog is BETA and we’ll fine tune over the next couple of weeks hence I’d be glad for your feedback!
